Where2Golf says:

Nemacolin Woodlands Resort (Shepherd's Rock course): Following the recent redesign and renaming of the resort's Links Course (henceforth to be known as Shepherd's Rock), Nemacolin Woodlands has two excellent layouts on which its members, guests, resort guests and outside visitors can ply their golfing skills. The redesigned Shepherd's Rock course can now hold its own with Nemacolin's highly-rated Mystic Rock course. And both layouts now carry top-tier billing as "Pete Dye designs".

Shepherd's Rock was the first of two golf courses to be built at Nemacolin Woodlands. Willard Rockwell's easy-going original layout was substantially redesigned by Pete Dye in 2016. With the redesign came a considerably more inspiring and challenging test. This tree-lined and open parkland layout now offers an excellently crafted design with plenty of golfing challenge. Well worth including on your play list together with the more renowned Mystic Rock course.
