Where2Golf says:

Penn National Golf Club is home to two championship courses, the Iron Forge and Founders layouts. The Founders is a well-rated and always popular golf course. This tree-lined and open parkland layout should not disappoint, with many attractive features and several excellent holes to enjoy. Plenty of golfing challenge, a well-crafted design and usually good upkeep all contribute to the appeal of this course. One to include on your play list if you are in the area. At this Stay & Play facility, you can rise from your bed in the morning and head straight for the first tee.

Did you know?

Penn National is a member of the Raspberry Golf Trail, a collection of 15 or so premier golf courses located in Maryland, southeastern Pennsylvania and northern Virginia (see raspberrygolftrail.com). | The names of the two championship courses at Penn National reflect the importance of the iron and steel industry in Pennsylvania. Powering this important industry through the 19th and 20th centuries were abundant supplies of Pennsylvanian coal and oil.
