Pine Cliffs Golf & Country Club

3-star: a good golf course with many fine features.
Pine Cliffs Golf & Country Club Est. 1991

Where2Golf says:

Pine Cliffs Golf Course: This popular and well-maintained 9-hole course is perched on cliffs above the golden beach and blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Alternating par-4s and par-3s meander down to the cliffs' edge through a pleasant parkland environment, accentuated by stylish bunkering and a liberal scattering of umbrella pines.

Although many of the holes fall short of modern-day championship length, there are two notable exceptions. The good-length par-4 5th is played directly alongside the red sandstone cliffs. This challenging clifftop hole leads towards the signature par-3 6th, one of the most iconic golf holes on the Algarve.

MOST MEMORABLE HOLE: The jewel of Pine Cliffs is the par-3 6th, known as the Devil's Parlour. From the championship tee it demands a dramatic 200-yard carry over a ravine to a deep but narrow green.

At this Stay & Play venue, the on-site accommodation is located close to the golf facilities.
