Where2Golf says:

Golden Eagle Residence & Golf Resort: With new owners in 2003, it is not only a name change (from Golden Eagle to Quinta do Brincal then back to Golden Eagle) that is evident here, there are also signs of much new investment, not least in the course itself (and a residential development to follow). The order of holes has changed, switching the best holes and nicest views of the surrounding countryside to the back nine. Roquemore's original design continues to give the course its very solid credentials - it occupies a pleasant stretch of undulating and lightly wooded countryside, within a quiet and natural environment. Excellent bunkering and several water hazards will ensure you need to play well to score well, although the greens still need attention to match the quality of the rest of the course. No reason why, with further investment, this golf course cannot continue to progress to become one of the best in Portugal.
