Where2Golf says:

TPC Dorado Beach (Sugarcane course): TPC Dorado Beach is home to four championship golf courses all originally designed by Robert Trent Jones Snr. In 1958 the West course and highly-acclaimed East course (later modified by Ray Floyd) launched the Dorado Beach resort. A little over ten years later the resort expanded across the road with the introduction of the Plantation Club and two more championship courses - the Pineapple and Sugarcane layouts.

The Sugarcane course at Dorado Beach's Plantation Club is a well-rated and always popular layout. This tree-lined and open parkland course should not disappoint, with many attractive features and several excellent holes to enjoy. Plenty of golfing challenge, a well-crafted design and usually good upkeep all contribute to the appeal of this course. One to include on your play list if you are in the area.

At this Stay & Play venue, the on-site accommodation is located close to the golf facilities.

Dorado Beach Resort has a long and distinguished past. Originally owned by the Rockefeller family and known as The Rocks, the resort subsequently was owned and operated by Hyatt Hotels. Although no longer a Hyatt, full resort facilities are still offered, including comfortable beachside accommodation. The resort will undergo a significant uplift when the planned Ritz-Carlton hotel facility comes to fruition (planned for completion in 2010).
