Where2Golf says:

Laguna National Golf & Country Club (Classic course): Laguna National's two championship golf courses, both designed by Andy Dye, comprise the very prestigious Masters course, used for top level professional events, and the also excellent Classic course. Both are only accessible to members, their invited guests and Corporate Day golfers. If you should be lucky enough to play on the Classic course, you will notice several similarities with its more renowned stablemate. Bunkering, as on the Masters course, is a threatening mix of small and large sand traps, sometimes railway-sleepered, at other times large fairway-lining sandy waste areas. Around the greens, some dangerously deep bunkers come into play. The terrain here has been mounded to create an excellent array of interesting and challenging holes, some more tree-lined, others in more open and gently undulating terrain. Rock-lined water hazards are often in play, frequently so on the back-nine. At the 12th and 13th holes you will need to cross a wide-ish canal (Sungei Bedok), while the 9th and 18th holes bring you back to the clubhouse alongside the same small lake, attractively decorated with several boulders. The Classic course will probably undergo a programme of refurbishment and some redesign in 2007/08.
