Cathedral Peak Golf Course Est. 1996

Where2Golf says:

The nine-hole course at Cathedral Peak has often been described as one of South Africa's little gems. Located high up in the Drakensberg mountains, you are gauranteed fabulous mountain scenery and plenty of elevation changes throughout. The holes have been laid out along the mountainside, many of them meandering through a valley, next to a babbling riverbed. With rocky outcrops and several water features to be negotiated, your game will be throughly tested as you journey round this magnificently scenic nine-hole golf course.

At this Stay & Play venue, the on-site accommodation is located close to the golf facilities.

Did you know?

Cathedral Peak Hotel, which opened its doors to visitors in 1939, is unique in that it falls within the boundaries of the Cathedral Peak Nature Reserve, and nestles right up against the spectacular Cathedral Peak range of mountains. Located in a valley where San bushmen once hunted, it has become one of the most popular hotels in the Natal Drakensberg. Cathedral Peak's popularity owes as much to its magnificent surroundings as it does to its founding family - the van der Riets, and particularly the vision of its founder - Albert van der Riet.
