The nine-hole course at Cathedral Peak has often been described as one of South Africa's little gems. Located high up in the Drakensberg mountains, you are gauranteed fabulous mountain scenery and plenty of elevation changes throughout. The holes have been laid out along the mountainside, many of them meandering through a valley, next to a babbling riverbed. With rocky outcrops and several water features to be negotiated, your game will be throughly tested as you journey round this magnificently scenic nine-hole golf course.

At this Stay & Play venue, the on-site accommodation is located close to the golf facilities.

How2Get There?

250 km NW of Durban / 40 km W of Winterton.
Driving time to Cathedral Peak from Johannesburg is approx 4 hours, and 2.5 hours from Durban. FROM JOHANNESBURG head south on the N3 to Harrismith. From Harrismith take the R74 past the Sterkfontein Dam, and down the Oliviershoek Pass to Bergville. Just beyond Bergville, on the R74 direction Winterton, turn right at the Cathedral Peak sign. After 16 km turn right to Emmaus / Cathedral Peak. Follow road for 31 km to hotel & golf. FROM DURBAN take the N3 north-west direction Estcourt. Approx 15 km after the Estcourt off-ramp, turn off the N3 onto the R74 direction Winterton. In Winterton take the R600, then after 1 km turn right direction Cathedral Peak. After 11 km at T-junction turn right and follow road for 31 km to hotel & golf.
