Where2Golf says:

Bramble Hill Golf Course: GOLF COURSE WAS CLOSED IN 2008, probably on a permanent basis. Check current status before planning a visit. Fancourt's three other championship courses (Links, Montagu and Outeniqua) remain fully open for the club's members, resort guests and day visitors (no day visitors on The Links).

[Original Where2Golf description]: Of the four Fancourt courses, only Bramble Hill is open to outside visitor play. Although not as grandiose as its stablemates, Bramble Hill nonetheless contains some of the genetic make-up of the other three. Its rugged, linksy openness, bears a resemblance to the mighty Fancourt Links.

Bramble Hill may not be of quite the same pedigree as its stablemates, but does contain its fair share of undulating terrain, rolling fairways, pot bunkers, and bumps and hollows around the greens. Like the Links, the greens are elevated and full of tricky slopes and borrows.

The Bramble Hill course comes close to rubbing shoulders with its more revered sibling (The Links) at the short par-4 10th hole, which is played towards the clubhouse of the Links course. The very short par-3 5th provides a good opportunity to look across the course with the picturesque Outeniqua mountains providing a fabulously scenic backdrop.

For the closing six holes, Bramble Hill moves closer to the parkland persona of the Montagu and Outeniqua. Again not quite up to their lofty standard, but good enough to ensure a testing finish to your round, even if the tiny par-3 17th goes down as one of Bramble Hill's most idiosyncratic holes.
