Approx 20 miles north of Savannah, leave I-95 at exit 8 and follow Hwy 278 East direction Hilton Head Island. After approx 11 miles turn right into Buick Island Drive. After o.6 miles turn right into Old Carolina Drive and follow road to clubhouse.

[Original Where2Golf description]: Old Carolina Golf Club: this nine-hole layout appears to command a solid reputation with both local and visiting golfers, especially those looking to play a two-hour round on a pleasant nine-hole course. Tree-lined holes, others more open, small lakes and some real estate all provide an interesting and varied backdrop to this Clyde Johnston layout.

The modern-day town of Bluffton, which was originally part of a royal parcel of land awarded to Lord Colleton, has a rich, fascinating history. Located on a high bluff overlooking the May River, Bluffton was a pastoral country retreat for wealthy plantation owners in Savannah and Beaufort in the 19th century.
Over the years, the area became popular with hunters, who enjoyed the rustic splendour of the Lowcountry woods. Today, Bluffton has become an increasingly popular area to call home, extending the appeal of Hilton Head Island to the mainland, and extending the range of golf courses on offer.
