George Fazio Course at Palmetto Dunes

4-star: generally an excellent standard golf course, well worth visiting.
George Fazio Course at Palmetto Dunes Est. 1974

Where2Golf says:

George Fazio Course at Palmetto Dunes: Palmetto Dunes is home to a trio of excellent designed and enjoyably challenging championship golf courses. On the George Fazio layout, dramatic bunkering and well-paced greens await, after you have navigated the carpet-like, gently rolling fairways. Like the Robert Trent Jones Oceanside course, the Fazio contains a pleasant mix of tree-lined holes and others that occupy a slightly more open environment. Two lengthy par-4s start and finish proceedings, with more open aspects of the front nine, giving way to a tighter and more testing closing stretch on the back-nine.
