Original nine-hole course opened in 1932. Spanish course architect Javier Arana designed the current Black course (1956), and front-nine of the Yellow course. Seve Ballesteros designed the back-nine of the Yellow course.
Above distances are for the Negro (Black) course. Also at Club de Campo is the 18-hole Amarillo (Yellow) course (par-71; 6015 metres from back tees; rating 72.5) and a nine-hole Short course (par-27).

Club de Campo Villa de Madrid (Negro course): Here at the Villa de Madrid Country Club you will enjoy the distinct impression of having escaped the hustle and bustle of downtown Madrid, without being very far from it. This busy and popular country club, probably the biggest in Europe, offers a wide range of sports and facilities to its many members, including two eighteen hole golf courses.
The undulating and at times very scenic Negro (Black) course lays down an excellent challenge to players of all abilities, be they aspiring amateurs or top level European Tour professionals. The Negro layout is complemented by the shorter par-71 Amarillo (Yellow) course, and also a nine-hole par-3 course.
Visitors welcome on weekdays and weekends.
