PGA Catalunya Resort (Tour course)

4-star: generally an excellent standard golf course, well worth visiting.
PGA Catalunya Resort (Tour course) Est. 2005

Where2Golf says:

PGA Catalunya Resort's Tour course provides a slightly less stern challenge than its more revered sibling, the Stadium course. The shorter and easier-going Tour course, is laid out on undulating terrain with predominantly tree-lined holes.

Dominated by pine trees and lakes, the Tour course is shorter and a little less difficult to play than the Stadium. Most of the holes feature wide fairways and strategically placed bunkers. A few water hazards have also been incorporated into the middle section of the back-nine.

While the picturesque front-nine meanders through pine forest, the back-nine opens out onto holes that roll with the contours of the undulating terrain. Risk-taking players are rewarded here, especially on the par-5 holes, where there is space to open the shoulders from the tees.

Although a bit of noise may stray up from a local karting circuit, it should not disturb your enjoyment of this well-crafted foil to the longer and tougher Stadium course.
