4-star: generally an excellent standard golf course, well worth visiting.

Where2Golf says:

Forsgårdens Golfklubb is home to a course that starts and finishes in a semi-residential setting on the outskirts of Kungsbacka. The layout quickly gets away from the town environment and into some picturesque rural countryside and mature woodland. The course itself is relatively open, even links-like in parts, with large copses of trees breaking up the openness. The quality of greenkeeping and overall presentation is of the usual high standard for Sweden, and the layout here is definitely up to European Tour standards (as recent winners at Forsgarden, Peter Baker and Lee Westwood, will testify). Water hazards come into play on 4 or 5 holes, with other defences comprising very good bunkering and fairly quick greens. An impressive green-roofed church looks down on much of this golf course; worth knowing if your game needs a little divine inspiration.

The Welcombe Hotel Spa & Golf Club: provides an excellent Stay & Play opportunity, just a mile out of town from William Shakespear's birthplace in the centre of Stratford. Royal Ostend Golf Club: represents Belgium’s only real "beside-the-seaside" links golf course (others like Royal Zoute are located a little way inland). Here at Ostend many holes make excellent use of an impressive area of sand dunes.
