Where2Golf says:
Halmstad Golfklubb (Sodra banan/South course): Often referred to as "Tylosand", Halmstad Golf Club is one of Sweden's top Stay&Play venues. In 1967 it was decided to split the original 18-hole layout as part of a project to create two separate courses at Halmstad. The original front-nine was incorporated into the new South course. With the addition in 1979 of nine new holes designed by Frank Pennick, the South course still has much in common with the North course, although it may not command as much of the limelight as its more revered sibling.
As on the North course, the individual sculpting of each hole through the surrounding pine forest creates a wonderfully natural and tranquil golfing environment. The South is flatter than the North, which arguably provides one of the biggest differences between the two. The excellently presented holes are lined by plenty of pine and silver birch. Accuracy from the tee will serve you well, but you'll also need to navigate around several small ponds that appear just where you don't expect them. It's worth studying the course plan at each tee box to avoid surprises.
Tylosand's North course is regularly rated as one of Sweden's top courses. It's admirably complemented by the also enjoyable and testing South course. They are certainly two of the most popular layouts in Sweden; a reasonably priced green fee makes sure of that.
At this Stay & Play venue, the on-site accommodation is located close to the golf facilities.
