Brackenridge Park Golf Course

3+ (3 gold): one of our top-rated 3-star courses, worthy of 3½ stars.

Where2Golf says:

Brackenridge Park Golf Course is reputedly the oldest course in Texas, and was designed by the much revered Albert W. Tillinghast. Following a substantial 2008 renovation, this municipal facility once again follows Tillinghast's original routing, and offers a generally well-regarded layout, which includes several attractive holes and features. This tree-lined and open parkland layout will test most facets of your game, and should provide a round with plenty of enjoyable golfing challenges. Worth visiting if you are in the area.
