Royal Chiangmai Golf Resort

Where2Golf says:

Royal Chiangmai Golf Resort: Set in a beautiful valley with stunning scenery all around, Royal Chiangmai is laid out in a former fruit orchard. Peter Thomson has crafted another very enjoyable and testing layout, where a more open links-style of golf course has been established in an undeniably tropical setting. On this relatively compact and gently sloping site, the course, which measures just under 7000 yards from the back tees, does not need to be over-powered with big-hitting. The proliferation of well-placed bunkers and water hazards places a much greater premium on accuracy, especially when it comes to approach play to the greens. The layout includes several elements used in British links style courses, not least, gently rolling fairways, pot bunkers and closely mown areas around the greens.

At this Stay & Play venue, the on-site accommodation is located close to the golf facilities.
