IAGTO, International Association of Golf Tourism, declared Argentina as the "Best Golf Destination of the Latin American and Caribbean region". Buenos Aires is home to some of the greatest golf courses located a short drive from the city center. It is recommended to make prior arrangements at most golf courses because some are only open to the public on certain days of the week.
