Des Moines Golf & Country Club

Private course - for members and their invited guests only.
Des Moines Golf & Country Club Est. 1897

Where2Golf says:

The private Des Moines Country Club is home to two highly rated championship golf courses. Both the North and South layouts were originally developed when the club moved to its current location in 1958. Both were revamped by Pete Dye in the late-1960s, and both now rank with the best in Iowa.

These tree-lined and open parkland layouts provide a wonderful test for your all-round game, with many attractive, skilfully crafted and challenging holes to enjoy. For the 2017 Solheim Cup, a composite of the North and South layouts was used. The Solheim Cup front-nine was played on the back-nine of the North course. The Solheim Cup's closing nine was predominantly played on the front-nine of the South course.
