Oglebay Resort / Speidel Golf Club

4+ (4 gold): one of our top-rated 4-star courses, worthy of 4½ stars.
Oglebay Resort / Speidel Golf Club Est. 1950

Where2Golf says:

Oglebay Resort is home to the Speidel Golf Club, which comprises the resort's top two 18-hole championship golf courses, the Arnold Palmer designed Klieves course and the Robert Trent Jones Sr Speidel course. The resort is also home to the original 18-hole Crispin course (5670 yds) and a 9-hole par-3 course.

The Klieves course ranks with some of the best in West Virginia. This tree-lined and open parkland layout provides a wonderful test for your all-round game, with many attractive, skilfully crafted and challenging holes to enjoy. A must play if you are in the area.

At this Stay & Play venue, the on-site accommodations are located close to the golf facilities.

The Welcombe Hotel Spa & Golf Club: provides an excellent Stay & Play opportunity, just a mile out of town from William Shakespear's birthplace in the centre of Stratford. Royal Ostend Golf Club: represents Belgium’s only real "beside-the-seaside" links golf course (others like Royal Zoute are located a little way inland).
