The founders and designers of Pikewood National, were two senior executives of Greer Industries, West Virginia’s largest limestone producer. John Raese (CEO) and Bob Gwynne (EVP) joined a small group of amateur designers to create golf masterpieces at their first attempt. Their design acheivement brackets them with the likes of Jerry Rich (Rich Harvest Links) and Henry Fownes (Oakmont Country Club).
