4-star: Above average course - well worth a visit.

Est. 1975

The Woodlands Resort & Conference Center is home to two "out-and-back" style championship golf courses. The often higher-rated Panther Trail course, was originally laid out by Joe Lee and Robert Von Hagge, and substantially renovated by Roy Case in 2002. The course is characterised by large greenside and fairway bunkers, gently rolling fairways and tall Carolina Pine lining every hole. There's plenty of water to be avoided on the challenging back-nine, not least at the island green par-4 18th.

Complementing the Panther Trail course is the also championship length Oaks course, which features generous fairways, and large rolling greens with substantial greenside bunkering. Bordering Lake Harrison, the par-4 18th hole epitomises the natural beauty and inherent challenges of The Oaks.
