Hanoi Phoenix Golf Resort

4-star: generally an excellent standard golf course, well worth visiting.

Where2Golf says:

Hanoi Phoenix Golf Resort is located in Yongbong village, in a wonderfully scenic and natural area of limestone hills and stacks (karsts), known as the "inland" Ha Long Bay. The three spectacular championship courses - Champion, Phoenix and Dragon - reflect the style of their American, Japanese and Korean designers. Course description, images and other details to follow soon.

At this Stay & Play venue, the on-site accommodation is located close to the golf facilities.

Did you know?

The course is laid out in an area known locally as the "inland" Ha Long Bay. Here you will find limestone hills and stacks (karsts) not dissimilar to the limestone islands and stacks found in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ha Long Bay, which is located off Vietnam's northeast coast, 180 km east of Hanoi.

Owned by the Korean Charmvit group, the Phoenix Golf Resort hosted the 2007 World Masters Vietnam competition which brought together 142 professional golfers from 27 countries (not a major tour event).

Koksijde Golf ter Hille Golf Club: on what was previously open farmland, an enjoyable and challenging links-style layout has been crafted.
