Did you know?

Bull Run Golf Club is named after the famous American Civil War battlefield, which is located about 10 mi away, adjacent to the Bull Run stream. On July 21, 1861, the Union and Confederate armies clashed for the first time on the fields overlooking Bull Run. Heavy fighting swept away any notion of a quick war. In August 1862, the two armies converged for a second time on the plains of Manassas. The Confederates won a solid victory bringing them to the height of their power.

Bull Run is a member of the Raspberry Golf Trail, a collection of 15 or so premier golf courses located in Maryland, southeastern Pennsylvania and northern Virginia (see raspberrygolftrail.com).
