Did you know?

In the 1860s and 1870s Ferguson often paired-up with fellow Musselburgh player Willie Park Sr in "stakes matches". They played against the likes of the St Andrews father-son team of Old Tom Morris and Young Tom Morris. After his competitive playing days, Ferguson took on the custodieanship of the Musselburgh Old Links.
