Did you know?

After an excellent amateur career, culminating in selection for the GB&I Walking Cup team in 1985, Gilford turned professional the following year. His six wins on the European Tour all came in 1991 thru' 1994, and included the English Open, Portuguese Open and two Moroccan Opens.
