In 1988 Pepper joined the LPGA Tour, and the following year won the first of her 17 LPGA Tour titles. Her two major championship wins came in 1992 and 1999 at the Nabisco Dinah Shore. Pepper played in the first six Solheim Cups (1990-2000). From 1988 to 1995 she competed as Dottie Mochrie, which was her married name before a divorce. From 2005 she commenced a career as a TV commentator.
