Ryder Cup player (1929, '33, '37). Multiple wins on the PGA Tour (15) and several other professional wins in the 1920s and 30s.
Despite his 15 PGA Tour wins and 24 top ten finishes in the "majors", a major championship title eluded Dudley during his touring career. As a club professional Dudley held the prestigious honour of being the first head professional at Augusta National Golf Club. Subsequently he was the club pro for many years at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs.
