1938Multiple wins on the PGA Tour (5), and numerous other professional wins, especially in the Florida Open (8), in the 1940s and 50s.
Cooper was aged 61 when won the 1976 Senior PGA Championship, at the time the only significant championship for golfers aged over-50. The Senior PGA Tour was launched four years later in 1980, and from then on this event was counted as one of the Tour's major championships.

Scottie Scheffler: narrowly missed out on matching Nelly Korda’s three-in-three, when he placed second at the Houston Open. This followed back-to-back wins at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and The Players. Like Korda, he remains comfortably ahead in the official world golf rankings.
