He launched his European Senior Tour career at the 2016 Italian Senior Open, the first day of which coincided with his 50th birthday. He placed second, one shot adrift of his fellow-countryman Stephen Dodd. Price secured his first senior tour win less than a year later in 2017, and then won again in 2019, concluding the 2019 season as the Tour's Order of Merit winner.
