Allenby is one of the most successful Australian golfers of the modern era. After turning professional in 1991, he topped the Australasian Tour Order of Merit in his first season (1992) and again in 1994. Allenby has recorded wins on many tours around the world. His most outstanding achievement was becoming the only golfer in history to win the Australian triple-crown (Open, PGA and Masters) in the same season (2005/06).
