Did you know?

Ishikawa is also known by the nickname Hanikami Ōji (the "Bashful Prince"). He burst onto the Japanese golf scene as a 15-year old amateur, winning the first Japan Golf Tour event he appeared in, the 2007 Munsingwear Open KSB Cup. Turning professional the next season, Ishikawa again won in Japan and became the youngest ever player to reach the top 100 of the world golf rankings. To date Ishikawa's continued success in Japan has not translated into wins on the PGA Tour or in major championships.
