Webb Simpson is a PGA Tour player who attended college at Wake Forest University in North Carolina. After turning professional in 2008 he won his playing rights on the full PGA Tour for 2009 at Q-School. Two years later he recorded his first two wins on the Tour, and then in 2012 captured the US Open, one of the biggest prizes in golf.

Simpson is a practising Christian, who frequently posts Bible texts and other statements on his Twitter account.
