Where2Golf says:

Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa: This is one of the world's best championship standard nine-holers, and a great place to play if you are visiting either Dubai or Abu Dhabi. The opening hole, a testing par-5 with an approach over water to the green, underlines the somewhat tropical and garden-like feel to Jebel Ali, quite a surprise is you are expecting a dusty, dry, desert environment. It also gets you used to the small and fast greens, excellent bunkering and tightish fairways, which are mostly lined with a variety of palms, small trees and flowering shrubs, all liberally growing within the sandy waste areas (peacocks, guinea fowl and all manner of exotic birds don't look at all out of place in this garden-like setting). The course also features a large saltwater lake with interconnecting bridges which comes into play on five of the nine holes, mainly in front of the greens. Four different sets of tees provides a different aspect to each hole as well as the opportunity to play an 18-hole round of 6375 yards (using the Black / Blue tee-box combination). The elevated tee at the exquisite par-3 8th, gives a wonderful view over the course, the surrounding desert and out onto the Arabian Gulf.

At this Stay & Play venue, the on-site accommodation is located close to the golf facilities.
