RACV Healesville Country Club

4-star: Above average course - well worth a visit.

Est. 2009

RACV Healesville Country Club: Nestling in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range and only a 75-minute drive from Melbourne, the centrepiece of RACV Healesville is its 18-hole golf course designed by Mike Clayton. Surrounded by beautiful native trees and vegetation, the partly open and partly tree-lined layout is well short of championship length. But that really doesn't seem to matter.

At just under 5,000 metres (5,400 yards) off the back tees, the par-68 course occupies attractive and gently undulating terrain. Clayton's well-crafted layout, with six par-3s, several short par-4s and a couple of shortish par-5s will thoroughly test your all-round game, while also offering some good scoring opportunities.

RACV Healesville is the perfect antidote to golfers obsessed by length. Here a premium is placed on accuracy. Most amateurs will no doubt enjoy the chance to bag a few more pars than usual. In this pleasantly natural golfing environment, the main objective is not to blast away with a wayward driver, but to relax, enjoy taking in the Yarra Valley environment, and above all .... combine your golf with having some fun!
