Sanctuary Cove (Palms)
Sanctuary Cove Golf & Country Club boasts two 18-hole championship courses: the typically higher-rated Arnold Palmer-designed Pines course, and the also well-regarded and shorter Palms course, which was designed by Ross Watson.
Nestled within century old Cabbage Palms, the tree-lined and open parkland Palms course should not disappoint, with many attractive features and several excellent holes to enjoy. It has a total length of 5904 metres off the championship tees, and includes numerous water features and hazards. The Palms exudes the traditions of the game, with distinctive holes, deep greenside bunkers and boldly contoured greens requiring creative shot making.

The Palms course at Sanctuary Cove was originally designed by Fred Bolton, an American golf course designer who initially worked for Jack Nicklaus. While working for Nicklaus, Bolton was sent to oversee the construction of the re-design of The Australian Golf Club in Sydney.
Bolton stayed in Australia after the project was completed, and began his own independent design business, designing several well-nown Gold Coast courses in the process. He married an Australian and settled on Queensland's Gold Coast.
