Damme Golf & Country Club

3-star: a good golf course with many fine features.
Damme Golf & Country Club Est. 1987

Where2Golf says:

Damme Golf & Country Club: Laid out on flat terrain in a very quiet and typically West Flanders setting, this parkland mix of wooded and more open holes will thoroughly test your golfing skills. Water is the ever-present danger here, with many holes demanding great accuracy from the tee to avoid the all too common small ponds, water ditches and often thick vegetation that lines the fairways. This is a course for technicians and good course management, rather than power-hitters and occasional waywardness. Several doglegging holes will require an appreciation of the appropriate "lay-up" yardages from the tee; this is especially true at the rather weak par-4 finishing hole. A good collection of par-3's are generally played over or alongside water. Woodland scenery interspersed with picturesque rural countryside, ensures a pleasant environment for your round.
