Mission Hills Haikou (Stepping Stone course)

3-star: a good golf course with many fine features.
Mission Hills Haikou (Stepping Stone course) Est. 2011

Where2Golf says:

Mission Hills Haikou (Stepping Stone course): Home to no less than 10 golf courses, Mission Hills Haikou is one of the world's largest golf clubs (if not the largest). The courses range in size and stature from the highly-acclaimed Blackstone tournament and Lava Fields layouts, down to the more modestly-sized Stepping Stone and Double Pin executive courses.

The Stepping Stone course at Mission Hills, Haikou is a 2,176-yard, par-54 collection of 18 par-3 holes; the first of two par-3 layouts at the resort (the other is Double Pin). It is a true pitch and putt course, but with dramatic green complexes surrounded by lava rock and large expanses of sand. The course plays through and blends with the native surrounds of black rock and thick vegetation. Families and players of all levels, from beginners to tour pros, will find that Stepping Stone perfectly complements a round on one of the championship layouts, and provides the chance to hone one's iron play and short game.

At this Stay & Play venue, the on-site accommodation is located close to the golf facilities.
