Where2Golf says:

Amarilla Golf: Rubbing shoulders on occasions with its neighbour, Golf del Sur, Amarilla is a golf course that guarantees plenty of variety. One hole is played across the ocean's rocky foreshore, another alongside a small marina. There are many up and downhill elevation changes, ever-present mountain and ocean views, and alternating stretches of natural desert and housing bordering the course. Most holes, like the par-5 16th and par-4 17th played at the course's highest elevation, are well laid out, scenic and challenging; a few are less so. From the elevated clubhouse, the first four holes take you straight down towards the ocean and the layout's signature hole, the short par-3 5th. With craggy cliffs and the sea to be crossed en route to the undulating green, you'll need a well-judged shot of around 100 metres from the men's yellow tees. On a windy day, what looks relatively straightforward gets distinctly more interesting. On the back-nine, the slightly longer par-3 12th, gets you alongside the San Miguel Marina (from where ocean tours can be taken in a brightly painted, yellow submarine). Although 20 years old, there is something of an unfinished feel to parts of Amarilla, particularly beyond the course. The general openness of the layout ensures you look onto a growing amount of housing and holiday apartments, which are either still in construction or up for sale. Thankfully, the apartment blocks are usually out of range. Bunkering along the generally good-width, rolling fairways is relatively light; a bit more threatening around the receptive, good-quality greens.
