Casa de Campo is home to four 18-hole championship courses. Sharing the same clubhouse at the resort centre are the Teeth of the Dog course (par-72; 7471 yds from back tees) and Links course (par-71; 6664 yds). Five minutes from the centre, with its own clubhouse and shop, is the Dye Fore course (par-72; 7714 yds from back tees). Also on property is the private 27-hole La Romana CC course.

Casa de Campo is just off Hwy 3 on the east side of La Romana. If approaching from the east (Higuey) look for the entrance on your left before getting into La Romana. If approaching from the west (Santo Domingo / San Pedro de Marcoris) go through La Romana on Hwy 3, following signs for Casa de Campo. Look for the entrance on your right, about 1.2 km after crossing the river bridge on the east side of the city.

Casa de Campo (Dye Fore course): For over thirty years, the toast of the resort was Pete Dye's legendary Teeth of the Dog golf course, one of the Caribbean's most acclaimed layouts. In 2002, Dye unveiled another in his world-class collection of inspired designs. Challenging "The Teeth" for top honours, but very different from its stablemate, the Dye Fore course is also immensely scenic, challenging and daring. It now boasts 27 holes (the newer Lagos-nine joined the original Marina and Chavon nines in 2011).
Blessed with incredible terrain, the front-nine (Marina) of Dye Fore enjoys many fabulous views onto the Caribbean Sea. The wonderfully crafted holes sweep down and back from the River Chavon. Views of Casa de Campo's marina and the river flowing out to the ocean are, like the holes themselves, stunning.
Not to be outdone, the fabulous back-nine (Chavon) is played on one side of, and high above the river, which spectacularly carves its way through a valley of rocky cliffs and tumbling forests. Many of the back-nine greens seem to hang out over the valley, while a look backwards from the long par-5 10th provides a memorable view of Casa de Campo's rustic, hilltop village - Altos de Chavon.
With many British links-style influences, including dramatically undulating holes, and even a dry-stone wall to guide your drive at the short, uphill par-4 17th, Dye Fore's very open (and usually windy) back-nine is as thrilling and challenging a loop of golf holes as you are likely to play.
When asked for his opinion, the acclaimed Welsh golf writer, Dai Faw, declared Casa de Campo's Dye Fore "a golf course that was certainly one to die for!" How right he was.

The Dye Fore golf course starts and finishes in the lofty environs of Casa de Campo's famed Altos de Chavon - a re-creation of a medieval European village. It was conceived and created by Roberto Copa, a former Paramount Studios set designer, and Charles Bluhdorn, the then chairman of Gulf+Western.
Altos de Chavon's construction began in 1976 when a nearby road and bridge crossing the Chavón river had to be blasted through a mountain of stone. Bludhorn had the idea of using the stones to build a 16th century Mediterranean village.
In the village, narrow, cobbled alleyways and shuttered limestone walls are home to several restaurants, quaint shops featuring local crafts, the charming St Stanislaus Church with its plaza and sparkling fountain, and galleries exhibiting work from an on-site design school. A Roman-styled 5,000-seat amphitheatre has hosted many notable bands and singers, while the Génesis nightclub provides a popular venue for guests from the Casa de Campo resort.

Women’s (British) Open: the last women’s major championship of the season is hosted by Royal Porthcawl GC. It’s the first time this fabulous seaside links course has hosted the event (July 31-Aug 3).
Walker Cup: the 50th playing of this prestigious men’s amateur event sees the GB&I go head-to-head against the defending USA team at Cypress Point Club, California (Sept 6-7). After that, all eyes turn to Bethpage State Park on Long Island, NY, where the American and defending European professional teams engage in the 45th Ryder Cup (Sept 27-29).
Lottie Woad: 21-year-old Woad burst onto the professional scene in July, with wins in the Women’s Irish Open (as an amateur) and three weeks later in the Women’s Scottish Open (as a professional). She nearly picked-up a major championship, placing third in The Evian in the same month.
Pádraig Harrington: the ever-likeable Irishman added the (British) Senior Open Championship title to his stellar array of tournament successes. His win came on Sunningdale’s spectacular Old Course. Harrington had already bagged the U.S. Senior Open title in June this year.

Here at Prince’s Golf Club you'll find 27 excellent holes of links golf. Just over the fence and sharing similar terrain is Royal St George’s; but Prince’s is far from overshadowed by its venerable neighbour. The three nine-hole loops at Prince's, laid out over gently undulating terrain, are sure to bring a smile of satisfaction to all lovers of links golf.
