75 km N of Whangarei
From Auckland Harbour Bridge travel north on Hwy 1 for approx 225 km, then turn onto Hwy 10 direction Kerikeri. After approx 14 km turn off Hwy 10 at roundabout, direction Kerikeri (town centre). After 3km, in the centre of Kerikeri, turn left at National Bank into Fairway Drive, direction Golf Course. Follow road for 1.5 km and golf is in front of you. (Approx 4 hours drive from Auckland).
Bay of Islands
Bay of Islands Golf Club (formerly Kerikeri GC): The surrounding quite hilly countryside may have you wondering what's in store here at Bay of Islands. Surprisingly a relatively flat course, albeit with some major exceptions.
On the front-nine the par-5 3rd hole plummets steeply downhill towards the green, and is followed by a stiff climb back-up to flatter environs via the short and tricky par-4 4th. On the back nine, the wonderful short par-3 13th also plunges downhill to a well protected green (plenty of water and bunkers), and is then followed by three undulating short par-4s.
Although much of the course is relatively flat, the layout is not without plenty to keep you absorbed, and probably more tree varieties than contained in any Tree Spotters Guide to New Zealand. One imagines this wonderful arboreal display contains imported as well as native species. You'll enjoy the pleasant walks along the lightly tree-lined fairways, which lead you to even-paced, but not overly bunkered greens.

The town of Kerikeri (and the club's former name, which means "keep on digging") is steeped in both Maori and European-settler history. It was here in 1822 that John Butler built what is now the country's oldest house, Kemp House. The equally famous Stone Store soon followed and by 1836 was in use as the mission store.
These wonderful buildings, together with a replica Maori village, Rewa's village, on the opposite bank, are often regarded as the "Cradle of the Nation" and are a must for all visitors to the Bay of Islands.

The Masters: The 88th Masters Tournament at Augusta National sees LIV golfer Jon Rahm defend his title against the world’s best. Pressing hard will be world No.1 and 2022 champion Scottie Scheffler and world No.2 Rory McIlroy (April 11-14).
Chevron Championship: the women’s major championship season gets underway for the second year at its new Carlton Woods home outside Houston, Texas. World No.2 Lilia Vu defends (April 18-21).
Nelly Korda: records a perfect start to 2024 with five wins out of her last five starts on the LPGA Tour. Winning the Chevron Championship also brought the second major championship win of her career.
Scottie Scheffler: narrowly missed out on matching Nelly Korda's five wins in five starts, when he placed second at the Houston Open. Either side of that, he won The Arnold Palmer, The Players, and then The Masters and The Heritage.
Marco Simone Golf & Country Club: With a clubhouse that might befit a Roman Emperor, and a golf course to match, you can be sure of a memorable outing at Rome's most talked about golf facility.
Jim Fazio's original layout was much changed to create a modern Ryder Cup course ... now one of the Eternal City's (and Italy's) most revered.
Here at Prince’s Golf Club you'll find 27 excellent holes of links golf. Just over the fence and sharing similar terrain is Royal St George’s; but Prince’s is far from overshadowed by its venerable neighbour. The three nine-hole loops at Prince's, laid out over gently undulating terrain, are sure to bring a smile of satisfaction to all lovers of links golf.
