On Kau Sai Chau Island. The HK Jockey Club Golf Course Pier at Sai Kung ferry terminal is 30 km NE of downtown Kowloon (Tsim Sha Tsui, aka TST).
Public passenger ferries and golf shuttle ferries connect from Sai Kung Town on the mainland to the Jockey Club on Kau Sai Chau Island.
Jockey Club Kau Sai Chau (East)
The Jockey Club - Kau Sai Chau (East course): The Hong Kong Jockey Club operates the only three public golf courses (North, South and East) in Hong Kong. Located on spectacular Kau Sai Chau island, the Club funded this development to meet the growing demand for golf in the region in the mid-1990s. Each of the three courses radiates out from the same clubhouse. Each meanders onto undulating terrain, giving wonderful ocean vistas with soul-stirring mountain backdrops.
Generally regarded as the most scenic layout in Hong Kong, the East course also steals top honours at Kau Sai Chau. It is the Jockey Club's dramatic wow-factor layout! But scoring well around this course ... now that's a different matter! No surprise that this is a golf cart only course; some of the green-to-tee distances are substantial, with prodigious elevation changes to match.
The out-and-back Nelson-Haworth layout hugs the hilly eastern side of Kau Sai Chau, offering many stunning views onto neighbouring islands. The views become simply sublime as the course stretches down onto a fabulous headland at the par-3 15th. From here it takes two par-5s and a long par-4, and plenty of cart driving, to get you all the way back to the clubhouse.
Also in the Jockey Club's Kau Sai Chau stable is the also highly regarded North course, a walking-only course, designed by Gary Player for top competitions and championships. Player also designed the shorter South course, regarded as the easiest going of the three layouts, on which you can walk or drive.

The three Jockey Club golf courses occupy the northern half of Hong Kong's sixth largest island, Kau Sai Chau. The rest of the island is largely uninhabited, except for Kau Sai Village, a small fishing hamlet of about ten houses located at the island's southern most tip. Beyond the island's north shore lies the spectacular bay of Port Shelter.

Chevron Championship: the women’s major championship season gets underway for the second year at its new Carlton Woods home outside Houston, Texas. World No.2 Lilia Vu defends (April 18-21).
Nelly Korda: records a perfect start to 2024 with five wins out of her last five starts on the LPGA Tour. Winning the Chevron Championship also brought the second major championship win of her career.
Scottie Scheffler: narrowly missed out on matching Nelly Korda's five wins in five starts, when he placed second at the Houston Open. Either side of that, he won The Arnold Palmer, The Players, and then The Masters and The Heritage.
Marco Simone Golf & Country Club: With a clubhouse that might befit a Roman Emperor, and a golf course to match, you can be sure of a memorable outing at Rome's most talked about golf facility.
Jim Fazio's original layout was much changed to create a modern Ryder Cup course ... now one of the Eternal City's (and Italy's) most revered.
Here at Prince’s Golf Club you'll find 27 excellent holes of links golf. Just over the fence and sharing similar terrain is Royal St George’s; but Prince’s is far from overshadowed by its venerable neighbour. The three nine-hole loops at Prince's, laid out over gently undulating terrain, are sure to bring a smile of satisfaction to all lovers of links golf.
