4+ (4 gold): one of our top-rated 4-star courses, worthy of 4½ stars.
Puntacana Resort & Club (Corales course) Est. 2010

Where2Golf says:

Puntacana Resort & Club (Corales course): Completed and opened in 2010, the Tom Fazio designed Corales Golf Club course is operated as a private members' facility. Non-member access is limited to guests staying at the Puntacana Resort (Tortuga Bay and Westin hotels).

Set between rocky cliffs, coral reefs and the expansive Caribbean Sea, the course offers fabulous oceanside golf, with six immensely scenic and challenging oceanfront holes. Multiple lines of approach and picturesque canyons are also integral to the design, making a round at Corales a wonderfully rewarding experience.

The exhilarating challenge of the Corales course culminates with the Devil’s Elbow, the layout’s last three holes. The Devil’s Elbow features the striking eighteenth hole with a dramatic forced carry over the cliff lined Bay of Corales, an inspired capstone to a memorable and breathtaking golf experience.

At this Stay & Play venue, the on-site accommodation is located close to the golf facilities.

Did you know?

The first golf course to be built at the Puntacana Resort & Club was the P.B. Dye designed La Cana course. P.B. returned to Puntacana in a design capacity to create the Hacienda course, which was completed in 2010 as the centrepiece of a 400-home community. Puntacana's Corales course, was designed by Tom Fazio, a member of another legendary American golf design "dynasty".
