Where2Golf says:

Bigbury Golf Club enjoys a fine reputation as a very scenic and enjoyable coastal course in the beautiful South Hams area of South Devon. The course is known for its spectacular sea, river and countryside views and its open and undulating layout. The club literature says : "Bigbury is a beautiful cliff-top 18-hole course overlooking the sea. It's an ideal holiday course; challenging enough for low-handicappers but not too daunting for the holiday maker. The course, which is playable all year round, provides outstanding views with Dartmoor to the north, the winding river Avon running near a number of holes and breathtaking scenes of Bantham beach and Burgh island".

The Welcombe Hotel Spa & Golf Club: provides an excellent Stay & Play opportunity, just a mile out of town from William Shakespear's birthplace in the centre of Stratford.
