Piltdown Golf Club

4-star: generally an excellent standard golf course, well worth visiting.
   Piltdown Golf Club Est. 1904

Where2Golf says:

Piltdown Golf Club: This very pleasant wooded heathland course is laid out on a high plateau of the Sussex Weald, although scenic views are limited. There is nothing too dramatic or spectacular about the course and you will definitely not find any sand bunkers here, and very few water hazards. But don't think all is plain sailing, you will doubtless find the abundance of heather and some gorse waiting for any stray shots. Although a bit on the short side, Piltdown is a good challenge for golfers of any level.
