Played as the Porsche Singapore Classic (March 21-24; European-DP World Tour event). 28-year-old Jesper Svensson (Swe) beat Kiradech Aphibarnrat (Thai) with a par at the third playoff hole (par-5 18th), to record his first DP World (European) Tour win in his 14th start on the Tour. In the final round Svensson tied the course record with a 63 (-9). [Classic course, Laguna National G&CC, Singapore].

28-year-old Jesper Svensson (Swe) was voted the 2024 Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year as the leading first-season player on the European (DP World) Tour. Svensson finished 10th on the European Tour's Order of Merit (Race to Dubai), accumulating 2321 points, and estimated earnings of €1.6 million during the Tour season.
Note: the winner is decided by a panel comprising members of the Tour's Tournament Committee and its Executive.

Bernhard Langer: he may have played in his last Masters Tournament, but the 67-year-old German will be trying to extend his own record, and win a 13th senior major title at the 36th Regions Tradition. (May 15-18).
