Mount Juliet
Mount Juliet Golf Club: This immaculately maintained and very well laid-out parkland course on the Mount Juliet estate, has established itself as a premier golfing venue for professionals and leisure golfers alike. The beautiful Mount Juliet luxury hotel, with its excellent facilities, ensures that its not just golfers who are thoroughly spoilt at this 5-star location in the rural south of Ireland.
The Jack Nicklaus designed par-72, 7,300 yard layout boasts rolling fairways, many water hazards and contoured greens, all expertly blended into the picturesque setting of this famous old Irish estate.
Pick of the holes: "feature holes" abound on the course, but among the most memorable are the par-3 3rd, played from an elevated tee to a green guarded by a natural stream and lake. The par-4 18th is another challenging gem, played in open terrain, but with water all down the left side, and a narrow approach to the green.

Lottie Woad: 21-year-old Woad burst onto the professional scene in July, with wins in the Women’s Irish Open (as an amateur) and three weeks later in the Women’s Scottish Open (as a professional). She nearly picked-up a major championship, placing third in The Evian in the same month.
