Acaya Golf Club is home to a well-rated and pleasantly testing golf course. Located amongst the olive orchards of Salento in Italy's "heel", this open parkland layout should not disappoint. Revamped by Michael Hurdzan in 2007, the course lays down a relative open challenge, with water putting in a few appearances on the front-nine loop, and many more on the testing back-nine.
On this very natural and well-spaced out layout, not bothered by roads or real estate, there are many attractive features and several excellent holes to enjoy. Good-width fairways, gently undulating terrain and occasional waterfalls are all in the mix. Plenty of golfing challenge around the bunker-defended greens contributes to this well-crafted design.

Nelly Korda: records a perfect start to 2024 with four wins out of her last four appearances on the LPGA Tour, a feat last achieved by Lorena Ochoa in 2008. Korda's win at the T-Mobile Match Play brought up her 12th LPGA Tour victory.
Scottie Scheffler: narrowly missed out on matching Nelly Korda’s three-in-three, when he placed second at the Houston Open. This followed back-to-back wins at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and The Players. Like Korda, he remains comfortably ahead in the official world golf rankings.
