Where2Golf says:

Golf Club des Iles Borromees: The challenging scene at the opening par-4 hole, with significant undulations and water dangerously crossing the fairway, welcomes you to the dramatic and testing course of Iles Borromees. The second hole, with similar features to the first, simply reinforces the mountain like splendour of a very well laid-out course, that occupies a sizeable silver birch and pine forest a few hundred feet above Lake Maggiore. The stiff climbs on the back-nine, that peak at the long-par-3 13th should reward you with better views over the stunning lake, but you'll have to wait until the 18th tee-box to get the best pictures for the scrap-book.
