Windsor Golf & Country Club, home to a well-rated tree-lined parkland layout, is located on the boundary line between Nairobi and Kiambu counties. With all the style and panache of the "House of Windsor", the golf course and onsite hotel have won many awards as one of Africa's best Stay&Play resorts. Windsor Golf Resort is located in an abundantly natural setting of woodland, and to the south a coffee plantation. Coffee is still a major cash crop in Kenya, although it accounts for about a fifth of the export earnings of tea, and in recent years has been overtaken by the export of cut fresh flowers to European markets.
