Borneo Golf & Country Club: with four holes laid out directly alongside the South China Sea and others routed through the predominantly open natural countryside, variety is guaranteed on this Jack Nicklaus signature design. An ever-present wind blows through this well-crafted and well-maintained layout, constantly testing your all-round game.
Occupying predominantly open and relatively flat terrain, both the front and back-nine loops present many trademark Nicklaus challenges. Long threatening lagoons run alongside several fairways on both nines. From the tee and on your approach to the greens, sizeable bunkers add to the layout's aesthetics and its undoubted challenges. The putting surfaces are receptive, but can become treacherously fast during dry spells.
Visitors welcome on weekdays and weekends.
Must book in advance.
Golf carts compulsory.

Borneo (in Indonesian "Kalimantan") is the world's third-largest island and the largest island in Asia. The island is divided between three countries. Approximately three-quarters of the island is part of Indonesia. In the north, the remaining quarter comprises the East Malaysian states of Sabah and Sarawak, while the Nation of Brunei occupies a small area on Borneo's north coast.
